During the open water training dives, you will apply your knowledge. Then, repeat the skills in a real-world environment with our guidance.
Why do a Freediving Course?
Freediving allows the diver to feel the freedom of movement that you just don’t get with all of the scuba gear on. Freediving can help you to become a better scuba diver. You can learn different breathing, equalization and relaxation techniques.
Certification on your Freediving Course
Once you have completed all required training sessions, an online test and open water training dives, we will issue your digital certification digital card.
If you are in doubt about freediving and want to try something simpler to start with, maybe our “Try Freediving” course is the right one for you.

Freediving seems pretty Extreme, what if I can’t do it?
Freediving is an incredibly relaxing activity that combines disciplines of the body and the mind. We will guide each guest individually to their own ability and limits. If for any reason you don’t feel like diving, you can still have a blast snorkeling around crystal clear waters or maybe doubling up on your yoga practice. Our Freediving instructors are very experienced and take safety very seriously, you are in really good hands.
Do I need to be a strong swimmer?
Our courses are open to people of all swimming abilities, some ocean experience and swimming fitiness is useful but not essential. If you are concerned, please drop us an email and our instructors can talk you through the plan and evacuate any doubts.
What equipment will I need?
We can provide everything you need for. However, if you have your own dive mask, snorkel, wetsuit, fins and weight belt, it’ll be great to bring it along. It’s always best to dive with your own equipment, with which you are familiar, or familiarise yourself with your new equipment before you start diving without an instructor.
Can I eat before the course?
Light meals or fasting are better before diving, especially on Sunday, before the ocean sessions.
I don’t think I’m ready for the commitment of a course like this, can I do something else?
Yes! We have a “Try Freedving” course. It is a one day course where we go over theory, safety and go for an ocean dive of a maximum of 7m.
