Hi! My name is Lou ...

I’m a Master Breathwork Instructor and a High School Teacher that understands the challenges of adolescence. I see the mental health struggles and I see the battle between knowing one’s self and being accepted by peers.

I see and hear the helplessness of parents and understand that all they ever want is what’s best for their child.

I have a background of 16 years in the Army, 11 of those years spent in Military Psychology. I’ve taught hundreds of military personnel how to use their breath to manipulate their nervous system to either down regulate, up regulate, or push them into their optimal performance zone.

In classroom settings, war-like environments, and simulated training scenarios.

I’ve seen the power of just one breath save lives.

When I shifted to a high school setting, my mind was blown at
the weight of the world sitting on these young people’s shoulders.

It felt familiar to what I was seeing in the military.

Big emotions, high demands and over stimulated nervous systems, combined with a lack of understanding and the coping tools to manage such stress.

I took action!

I now teach daily breathwork practices and weekly breathwork and cold exposure workshops for our young people.

Young people report feeling calm, relaxed, energised yet focused.

For the first time they can sit through a whole test, they understand what they are feeling and how they can use their breath to change that.

They are now coaching each other through challenging times back to their breath. It’s incredible, and I want every young person to have access to these tools!
